2 Timothy 4:7. "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith."

Frustration dogged my tracks Monday. I forgot where I put my car keys because I rode my bike Sunday. I searched everywhere, fortunately Larry had left his key to my car on his chest of drawers. I had imposed a deadline on myself that was virtually impossible to keep.  I couldn't find my cell phone - I just had it; how could it be lost!  Oh, how I wanted to quit on the spot and put off…

Feeding The Hungry

We carry crock pots into the kitchen and set them on the table. Soup is ladled

into bowls. Bread is neatly placed on plates. Dessert stands ready on a counter

nearby. Outside hungry people wait. My community group is serving those in need

tonight.

And aren’t we all in need?

We wipe down the last of the surfaces a couple of hours later. I think of

smiles as spoons are lifted to lips. I remember the laughter of children as they

tear the…

Transgenerational Blessings

The character qualities of Joseph are revealed in Genesis forty-five. Joseph refuses to retaliate against his brothers, but rather he sets his family up for a breakthrough blessing. He transitions his family out of famine and lack into abundance. He changes their economic status; Joseph positioned his family to receive a bailout package.

This stimulus package not only stirred their economy as a family, it repositioned them for transgenerational wealth. The concept of… Continue

Draw Me!!! A Wild Ride Thru The Wilderness!

Draw me away, to where we become as one.

Where there's nothing left of me, and Thy Kingdom can come.

I'm longing to decrease, 'cuz I'm longing for more of You...

Draw me! Draw me!

Draw me, Lord, and I will run!

Draw me! Draw me!

Draw me, Lord, and I will run...

Into Your arms of Love, here I come.

Come and capture my heart, invade the corners of my mind.

And kiss me with The Kiss, that sets my spirit aflight.

I'm longing to… Continue

A Word to the Men

When I think of the greatness of this great plan I fall on my knees before God the Father [ from whom all

fatherhood, earthly or heavenly, derives its name], and I pray that out of the glorious richness of His

resources he will enable you to know the strength of the Spirit's inner re-enforcement - that Christ may

actually live in your hearts by faith. (Eph 3:14,15 Phillip's)

True Discipleship

Where can we find a new model of discipleship, one that does not rely on saintly withdrawal, workbooks & techniques or authoritarian structures, but rather sets us free to become the unique men & women God created us to be?

It is important to understand that there is only one critical issue in discipleship and that is our relationship with Jesus Christ. All else is nothing in comparison. Jesus does not call us to a discipling model or a religious commitment. He calls us to a… Continue

Unity

There is unlimited power in unity! Unity simply means having continuity in

purpose or action.

Unity is the glue in the body of Christ that allows us to be one. Even with all

the differences...different perspectives, races, experiences, denominations,

worship practices-we can celebrate these differences and still work together.

The three key components associated with unity are agreement, harmony and

oneness.

You Are Free!!!

Most Christians tolerate bad things happening in their life because they think that they are unavoidable. They expect it. THEY DO NOT UNDERSTAND what they are really free from.

Imagine being jailed for a crime or accident you unintentionally committed. Regardless of your innocence, the jury finds you guilty. You would be frustrated, bitter, and confused.

Have you ever wanted to walk in the "greater things" that Jesus said we would walk in?  What is your passion?  Teaching? Preaching? Praying for the sick? The hurting? Evangelism? Childrens Ministry?  The goal of this ministry is 3 fold:  10  To teach men/women to create a culture of love & passion for Jesus Christ  2)  To train students how to allow the passionate love of Christ to minister to the needs of others.  3)  To teach students how to move in the supernatural with miracles, signs & wonders following.
To do this, we will be primarily using the curriculum from Bethel School of Supernatural Ministry (Bill Johnson, Redding, California).  We will also be utilizing other means of training such as other curriculum as God directs, as well as guest teachers.  The school is divided into 2 semesters:  Aug. - Nov. & Jan. - May.  Call for more info - Joe & Lori Pileggi  251-751-2698.   jilministries.org  or email  abundantharvestmtc@yahoo.com

Don't miss this extraordinary opportunity to be a part of this training to do what God has commissioned us all to do which is to take Jesus to the streets and change the culture in our city!!!

Brothers, the time is over nigh, the time is well passed, but we must stand and we must rise up and regain our God given position. What shall we say to our beloved Master, Christ Jesus, when He will ask us: "what have you done with the life I gave you?". There will be lowering of heads and faint voices: "You know, o Lord".

We must work all of one accord with a Trowel in one hand a Sword in the other.

"16 ¶ From that day on, half of my servants worked on construction, and half held the spears, shields, bows, and coats of mail. And the leaders stood behind the whole house of Judah, 17 who were building on the wall. Those who carried burdens were loaded in such a way that each laboured on the work with one hand and held his weapon with the other. 18 And each of the builders had his sword strapped at his side while he built. The man who sounded the trumpet was beside me." (Neh 4:16-18)     UNITY!!!  ONE MIND; ONE ACCORD!!!

LOVING OTHERS BECAUSE HE FIRST LOVED US...SO MUCH HE GAVE!
*********************************************************************************************
We have a duty to encourage one another. Many a time a word of praise or thanks or appreciation or cheer has kept a man on his feet. Blessed is the man who speaks such a word.

Worship the Lord with gladness;
Come before Him with joyful songs.
Psalm 100:2

What does worship mean to you?

When it comes to God’s work in the most difficult people we know, we should never say “never.”
God’s power cannot be confined
To what you think is possible;
So when it comes to changing lives—
Imagine the impossible. —

Never say never when it comes to what God can do.

A Radical Relationship

GOD IS,

God has created ALL that has been created, nothing else has been created that He did not create,

God keeps alive ALL that has been created, thus without God all would disappear into nothingness, whence it came from,

God has every right to dispose and rule His creation as He wills, for he created it and keeps it alive,

God has revealed Himself generally in Nature and also His will specifically in the Bible, which is inerrant and the only sure reference,

God has decreed that disobedience against his perfect will is sin to his Holy Self, and that sin will NOT enter His Holy presence, forever,

God states that every single human being (except Christ the man) has committed sin and therefore cannot enter His Holy Presence,

God asserts that there is absolutely nothing that man can do or give to save his soul, for every single human being has sinned,

God has provided for His people a vicarious sacrifice perfect in every way and ALL sufficient,

Jesus Christ, God's only begotten Son.

A Bright Hope

With God, every day matters, every person counts. And that includes you.
You are valuable...not because of what you do or what you have done, but simply because you are.

How wide is God's love? Wide enough for the whole world.

A problem is no more a challenge to God than a twig is to an elephant.

Sow seeds of hope and enjoy optimism. Sow seeds of doubt and expect insecurity.

God's efforts are strongest when our efforts are useless.

If God can make a billion galaxies, can't He make good out of our bad and sense out of our faltering lives? Of course He can. He is God.

God is the shepherd who guides, the Lord who provides, the voice who brings peace in the storm.

God speaks all languages – including yours.

I PRAY ALSO THAT THE EYES OF YOUR HEART MAY BE ENLIGHTENED IN ORDER THAT YOU MAY KNOW THE HOPE TO WHICH HE HAS CALLED YOU.
Ephesians 1:18 NIV

Heaven invites you to set the lens of your heart on the heart of the Savior and make Him the object of your life.

The love of people often increases with performance and decreases with mistakes. Not so with God's love.

We forget that "impossible" is one of God's favorite words.

God loves you with an unearthly love. You can't win it by being winsome. You can't lose it by being a loser.

YOU WERE BOUGHT, NOT WITH SOMETHING THAT RUINS LIKE GOLD OR SILVER, BUT WITH THE PRECIOUS BLOOD OF CHRIST, WHO WAS LIKE A PURE AND PERFECT LAMB.
1 Peter 1:18-19

Does your self-esteem ever sag? When it does, remember what you are worth.

God – our Shepherd – doesn't check the weather; He makes it.

How Can I Know I Am "Saved" from Sin?

"For Christ also hath once suffered for sins, the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened by the Spirit:" I Peter 3:18

It's clear! In Romans 3:23 we read, "For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God"

In Romans 3:23 we read, "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."

I don't know about you, but I believe what God's Word says. Without God, and the cleansing blood of Jesus, you and I are in a world of hurt. "But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory (over sin and death) through our Lord Jesus Christ." 1Co 15:57 (KJV)

Salvation from our sins is only possible through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ.

To accept God's gift of salvation, we must believe (not just acknowledge) that Jesus is the Son of God and that His purpose for coming to Earth was to die for our sins. By doing so we are accepting Him as our Savior. Then it is imperative that we repent of our sins and turn from our sinful ways to "follow" Him. By doing so, we are accepting Him as our Lord.

BEWARE! Though we are saved by grace, we still need to honor the Lord with our lives on a "daily" basis. That means turning away from the old paths of sin and unrighteousness and allowing His Spirit to guide us in all we do. In so doing, we will "daily" draw closer to God.

Have you not asked Jesus to come into your heart and life and made him your Savior and Lord.

"Seek the Lord while he may be found; call on him while he is near" (Isaiah 55:6).

Just say, "Jesus, I am a sinner and I am in need of forgivness. I want to stop sinning and to live for you everyday but I need your help. I confess my sins just now to you, and I promise that with your help I will turn away from my past and begin living for you. Place your Spirit within me and help me I pray. Be my Lord and Savior from this day forward. In Your Name I pray, Amen.

Now, place Jesus at the center of your life today and every day. Your eternal salvation depends on it.

God bless you.

How To Become A Christian

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16

God has a wonderful plan for your life!

I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. John 10:10b

Walking Down the "Romans Road" to Salvation . . . .

•Because of our sin, we are separated from God.
For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23
•The Penalty for our sin is death.
For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Jesus Christ our Lord. Romans 6:23
•The penalty for our sin was paid by Jesus Christ!
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. Romans 5:8
•If we repent of our sin, then confess and trust Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior, we will be saved from our sins!
For whoever calls on the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13
...if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:9,10

To receive Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, pray this prayer:

Lord Jesus, I'm like everyone else - I can't make it through life on my own. I'm imperfect. I'm prone to sin. I have come to realize that there's nothing in the world I can do to make myself acceptable to You. But I know that You have loved me so much that You were willing to submit to the cross and die on my behalf. That's a grace so amazing I cannot understand it; I can only accept it. And I do. I accept Your free gift, and I know that from this moment on, I am saved. I am a child of God. And I give the rest of my life to serving You and experiencing the joy that only You can offer. Fill me now, dear Lord, and raise me to walk in the newness of life. I thank You and praise You! Amen.

Now that you are a "new creation" in Jesus Christ, the road ahead will be full of life-changing experiences. Growing in knowledge and understanding of the Bible and your Christian walk with God is essential for your spiritual growth.

Here are some ways that you can grow as a Christian:

•Be baptized.
Baptism identifies you with Christ
Acts 8:35-40
•Study the Bible.
The Bible will guide you through life and answer life's questions.
Your Word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path. Psalm 119:105
Be diligent to present yourself to God, a worker who does not need to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
2 Timothy 2:15.
•Share your faith with others.
Therefore do not be ashamed of the testimony of our Lord. 2 Timothy 1:8
Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
Matthew 10:32
But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be witness to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth. Acts 1:8
•Be part of a local church.
•Fellowship with other Christians.
And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works; not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:24,25
•God desires to meet your needs! Make prayer a part of your daily life.
Luke 11:2-4
